I have a garage at home which is out of sight from my current security doorbell or my surveillance camera. I don't want to add on wire and electricity spot to install another one and this little one is good to use for this purpose. The installation is simple and it comes with a 32GB micro SD card. Due to the lightweight design, I can easily stick it on with a 3M self adhesive tape. It is not waterproof but the place I installed it is well covered therefore I have no issue with it. The picture quality is clear (2K resolution) and the battery life per charge last quite long. The app is quite easy to use and I connect the app to the camera using wifi connection. The little security camera is small in size 6x5x4cm, and weight approx 80g. The charging is via a micro USB cable, which comes with the set. I would prefer it to support USB C which is the common type of charging ports. Anyway, the cable comes with the pack therefore I don't have to source one to charge it up. I am happy with it.
This little camera has been great for keeping an eye on my shed. Set it up with a SIM card and it started working right away without any headaches. Battery lasts surprisingly long and the video quality is super clear, even at night. The motion detection alerts on my phone are really handy too. Like that it’s small but still covers a wide area.
The camera is small and works fine, but it has a cheap feel to it, hard black plastic, and it recharges with a micro-usb lead, which is a bit weird, as most items these days are charged by usb-c. This leads me to believe it's an older item, using older tech. In which case it is also a bit overpriced for what it is.Plus points though: The battery life is excellent, with the battery being a rechargeable 5200mAh battery. Dependent on use, the manufacturers state it can have up to 110 days use on a charge. I cannot confirm that at the moment though. The camera comes with a micro SD 32GB card, which is great. You get 3 days of FREE recording storage, and additional storage can be purchased. The app is straight forward and easy to navigate and use.The camera is best suited for indoors because of the design, it does not look waterproof.
This was easy to set up and needs no WIFI as it uses a 4g sim card, it records for a few days free of charge but you can pay for a plan to make this longer, it's ideal for remote locations or when no WIFI signal is available, the app is easy to download and connect tot he camera, so far no issues and it's small size make it very discreet indeed, I'm using it in my garage and the image quality is very good, so far so good, happy to recommend this.
The hardware is forgettable black plastic; it is plenty of ventilation holes, so is definitely an indoor only camera. Powered by a microUSB, which in 2025 is a bit old school. Fortunately the battery lasts a while, so charging isn't a regular occurrence. The mounting can be stuck to a wall; the camera itself can slide out of the housing, making for easy recharges when the time comes. In terms of software, there are plenty of options, with motion detection, intercom, siren, screenshot, (manual) record, remote shutdown, night vision, activity zone, human frame detection, and image flip. It also has schedules, detection distance and other options.By default, it records directly to the microSD card as well as uploading clips onto the cloud - note that you do not have to create an account to do this; it just does it out of the box, though it can easily be turned off during setup. Clips from the last 3 days are accessible from the cloud with no subscription, but older than this requires paid cloud storage (30 days storage $51 per year; 15 days storage$26 per year). In order to get it to sends an alert when it detects a human, you will need to not only select 'human detection' on, butalso 'motion detection'.Battery life seems very good; it's been on about a week and used about 10-15%, including plenty of messing about setting it up and testing for this review.Comes with a 100MB sim card from EIOTCLUB; rates are not particularly cheap - EUR10 for 3GB for 30 days, for example. But one could put a different sim card in to suit.A 32GB microSD card is included. There is also DV mode, which I haven't figured out yet.
